POPIA Privacy Notice

This notice explains how personal information is processed under South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act, 4 of 2013.

Responsible party and operator

The business using New Phase Engage is the responsible party for its customers' personal information.

New Phase Solutions (Pty) Ltd is the operator, processing that information only on the documented instruction of the business.

Lawful basis for processing

Processing is carried out to conclude or perform a contract with the data subject (for example, making a booking), to pursue the legitimate interests of the business, or with the data subject's consent for marketing follow-ups.

Information collected in a conversation

Engage collects customer details progressively — only when they become necessary, typically the customer's name and mobile number before a booking is confirmed.

Customers are never required to complete a form before starting a conversation.

Data subject rights

Data subjects may request access to their information, correction or deletion of it, and may object to processing or withdraw marketing consent at any time.

Requests can be sent to the business directly or to hello@newphaseengage.co.za and are actioned within 30 days.

Security safeguards

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, workspaces are logically isolated per business, and access is limited by role-based permissions.

Cross-border transfers

Where processing occurs outside South Africa, we only use providers offering a comparable level of protection as required by section 72 of POPIA.

Information Officer and complaints

Data subjects may lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa) at enquiries@inforegulator.org.za.
